credit sequences

                           credit sequence

Fantastic 4 credits

This is the first part of the credits:

The vibe of how the future was seen in the old times was still there and the colors that represent the fantastic 4 are show. The colors its self represent the team and the tone of the movie shown by the animation on the characters.

now lets take a look at the middle of this sequence:

The middle shows the characters and parts that still gives the futuristic 60s as in the news papers with filters. The blue colors are still being shown, the colors of the text are a cream color that push the old tv texts. With that the music sounds straight out of a futuristic ride from Disney developing the entire movie tone into one sequence.

Lastly, the title wraps it all up by showing the same colors again and the 4 with graphics pulling everything shown into one.

Spiderman no way home

The credit start with the name of the director giving full attention on who directed the movie then the volume of the music goes up and it starts playing magic Number, which now that song is connected to Spider-Man no Way home giving it more fame.

Now lets take a look at the rest

Here we see the colors, white, red and blue representing Spider-Man's suit then in the back we see a couple sketches that reference other Marvel movies like Iron Man these sketches imply that it's Peter Parker's sketches and makes the movie Film more personal to the audience.

Now towards the middle Doctor Strange, along with it, we see random weird looking signs around him and his face looking distorted, which fits his character. Also, the fact that he sketched show the relation between Peter Parker and Doctor Strange
.

When the credit start to end, we finally see the title. Spider-Man is all bolded in the colors that represent Spider-Man and no way home is simply white, contrasting each each other, and focusing more the importance with is Spider-Man around him we see everything is full of colors meaning that it's done since the other sketches were just plain with colors, black and white.

Cruella

As you can see the credits start with the title, the background is in black and white while the title is red. The reason for this is because the red represents danger and is usually signed up with the villain, in that case the title stands out to represent the way the character is.

The character is then again shown in all red with an empty background reinforcing the power she holds, but also the bright color is the title giving it more focus. With that the title looks like the title font of an article, which connects to the ending.

Lastly, we have that push again in the title looking like scraps of letters from news paper, leading to the theme of the movie about twisted media.

Film openings

                       Film openings for action

Opening number 1: guardians of the galaxy  vol 2

The opening started with the gardens about to fight this big beast and then the cute character by the name of Groot played music that now is connected to the film and Groot started dancing to the song (Mr blue sky). While he dances it shows also the other crew fighting the monster and little comedic moments of the characters interacting with root while the credits are put in blue with lights. This introduces the fun and comedic vibes in a fight movie.

Opening number 2: starwars revenge of the stiff

This opening starts with a spaceship, with other smaller spaceships flying around it. This makes the ship look big and being in excitement, while that is happening there non-diegetic musical instruments playing also adding into the feeling. The rest shows these 2 characters talking to each other from different ships along with that they are fighting these small creature like ships. This introduces the team work in a futuristic war that's about to take place in the rest of the movie.

Opening number 3: trolls

The b beginning introduces a crowd of trolls surrounding the king troll with a baby and the baby then takes out a bell and starts playing it and the music transitions to the famous song called September, then in big letters the title is showed in all sparkly with the trolls dancing in the background. The music with all the colors of the trolls while they dance introduce the happy and fun feelings that the movie is going to hand to the audience through out the movie.

Transition Post

                                         Aice media project

For our project we have to make a film introduction, my plan is to work with a group of 3 and make our film an action film. We had planned to start it off as a heist and add some comedy so it goes with the common action genre, sort of like marvel.

Here is our brain storm so far:

BRAINSTORM

Genre’s/Styles

  • James Bond

  • Thing in the Sky (Alien…?)

  • Heist in Bar

  • Baby Driver

  • 911 Meteor

BAR HEIST:

Bad guy sitting at a bar with henchmen behind him briefcase on table, looks at watch, shows that other dude is running late, visibly frustrated but keeping nonchalant lowk evil presence.

Kinda chill dude enters the room and sits down at table, placing second briefcase down and almost knocking down salt container.

Dialogue

Evil guy is waiting with hench men (shot of him looking at them)

(Cu of watch)

main character comes in dropps thingy: got it

Evuil guy looks at main character (no emotions)

MC so how was your day

Evil guy : Give me what you promised

MC: oh right (hands it)

Evil guy: why so blue

MC: me?

Evil guy: No the case, jackass.

MC shrugs: less noticeable

(Evil guy shakes his head and whispers to hench man)

Evil guy: come to papa

(he tries to open it but gud puts his hand over the case)

MC: WOAH, woah, woah not here man. Around all these people

Evil guy: I do as I please, now go.

MC does a little fast walk

Portfolio Project Genre #2

                                   Action

The usual target audience is male, action movies mostly includes violence, superheroes, or a chase. The themes are stereotypically more intriguing or targeted to males. They connect to the genre from them being seen as sporty and play rough.

Most followed rules within the genre are where a person has heroic path by saving someone or a big amount of people. Usually the main character is a regular person or someone who views themself as useless or looks down at themselves then a big issue happens where they decide to do something good leading to them becoming a hero or a greater person. adding in a ticking clock, car chases, or heists that make the audience be on their edge of their seat, along with huge explosions and fighting scenes that keeps that certain audience entertained.

Action films use a specific types of technique, like hand held cameras during fights or any scene that can make the audience feel anxious. Slow motion is used during running scenes, explosions, or when "loosing someone in battle", making the motions feel like it's all happening in real time.

The narrative image is all about the feeling you get before the movie even starts. It's like the promise that you’re going to see massive explosions, stunts, and a comedic hero . It's seen everywhere in marketing, like on those posters that always use orange and blue colors or show the main star and a cool grey background.

Portfolio Project Genre #1

                              sad/ emotional

The typical target audience for this genre is usually from teenagers to adults. Teenagers share the feelings of a breakup and loneliness. During that stage they tend to have more emotions and have a bigger reaction to the genre. In the films with this genre characters have an arc where they find themselves and that connects with the teenagers because through that phase the have to figure themselves out. With adults they understand the world more and have a deep understanding in the genre and can connect with the loss of someone.

Sad film often are dramas or tragedies happen, directors use type conventions to make the audience feel a deep feeling of empathy. A huge convention is using illnesses, forbidden love, or the death of a pet or a close relationship. These movies use low-key lighting and colors like greys and blues are used to give character gloom, also with tight close-up shots to show that the viewers every tear and expression of pain. The diegetic sound is usually a sad type of orchestra with slow piano or violin melodies that make people be sad.

A big part of this is the narrative is the specific vibe or idea of the movie created. For a sad film, the company builds image by focusing on the tragic story or  a character that makes people cry. Marketing conventions through trailers using slow burns and editing shots of characters looking lonely infant of big landscapes.
